Teal and Gold Northwest Vineyard Wedding

From Rebecca Grant, wedding planner at New Creations Weddings - Taking cue from the gorgeous natural scenery of DeLille Cellars, the couple opted to keep the color palette grounded in shades of blue, greens and whites. Danielle and Rob provided special touches such as the live pine trees which doubled as escort cards.  There were also surprises for the guests all through the evening with a kissing booth (which Rob made himself), Gonzaga flag that came out during dancing (a nod to their alma mater), a cotton candy buffet, and a balloon release! This DeLille Cellars wedding has so much Northwest to love!

From Jaffrey Bagge, caterer at Twelve Baksets Catering - Rob and Danielle decided to have an Italian and Northwest fusion menu which fit the family and setting beautifully! From tray passed mini antipasto skewers and pear gorganzola crostini to cedar wrapped salmon and chicken picatta seated dinner, it was a perfect feast for the occasion. Our vintage mismatched china settings looked so elegant next to the little pine tree escort cards.

Fuchsia and Gold Summertime Wedding Inspiration

From Jacky Grotle, lead planner at Event Success: Event Success had a lot of fun in the newly remodeled Matthew's Winery for this fantastic early summer styed shoot.

We used vibrant fuchsia & gold to pop on the beautiful grey & white backdrop of the venue.  Rarely do we see a ruffled linen and they are so fun, so we added this as an overlay. We also had woven fabric treatment for the chairs to make them special and a fun paper flower backdrop which is so "on trend". We went for texture with the floral which is what brides are really looking for.  Gold silverware and brass candlesticks were nice details that perfectly matched the cake accent. Our couple looked gorgeous and had a lot of fun showcasing A Woodinville Winery Wedding!

Bright Spanish Outdoor Wedding at the Historic Hollywood Schoolhouse

Nikki and Seth grew up going to the same High School in Eastern WA together but never knew each other until meeting up through a mutual friend during College.  

About the Wedding:

It was a beautiful evening at The Hollywood Schoolhouse as Nikki & Seth tied the knot amid a Spanish inspired theme (yum, paella for dinner!)! The love was in the details from the signs made by the bride (along with countless other decor pieces by the bride and her mom) to the family friend who officiated their ceremony to a friend who played the piano during cocktail hour along with their wedding cake made by a family friend adorned with fruit and floral by Debi Bock's Vintage Lilli! It was a true labor of love and we were honored to be a part of Nikki & Seth's wedding day!

Labyrinth Inspired Winery Wedding

Karisa and Ryan are such a fun-loving couple. They initially bonded over their love of David Bowie and Labyrinth. So, when it came time to start planning a wedding, they knew that they wanted to incorporate elements of this into their design. Novelty Hill Januik made for the perfect backdrop to their unique color palette of orange and blue. The Labyrinth theme was complete when Ryan’s twin brother decided to put on a David Bowie outfit complete with a Labyrinth puppet show! 

   

I remember the first time I met with Karisa, she told me that the most important thing to her and Ryan about their wedding was that it was a party. And it’s safe to say that they had one memorable, rockin’ reception!

The gorgeous flowers were all done by Althauser Designs. The toasts at their reception were some of the funniest and most memorable ! I don’t think I've ever laughed so hard before. Greek, African & American Seattle Wedding

From the Planner, Rebecca Grant of New Creations Weddings: "Haroula and Dave's Greek/African and American wedding day was as close to a perfect wedding day as you can get.  With the stunning Seattle summer we had last year, in addition to the gorgeous bright and vibrant colors, this wedding was a dream.  The rich color palette of purples, pinks, yellows and oranges jumped out beautifully from Within Sodo's dark backdrop.  The Edison bulb chandelier was definitely a favorite too, used as the backdrop for the ceremony, then again for the head table.  Nods to the bride growing up in Africa were abundant through the use of colors and tropical flowers.  Even the cake had hand-made sugar flower bougainvillea harkening to the abundance of the flower in Africa.  Haroula's Greek heritage was brought in during the dancing, and although we couldn't break the plates, napkins were thrown about instead.  

What a fun, perfect wedding this day was!"

Intimate and Elegant Winery Wedding

This intimate and elegant winery wedding held at the modern venue of Novelty Hill-Januik Winery, in the heart of Woodinville Wine Country, features the lovely Weddings in Woodinville attendees Carly and Paul and the many vendors they found at the show.  

From the bride: We have vacationed in Woodinville every year since we first started dating, and when we were looking for a venue for our wedding we wanted to choose a location that held significance to both of us.  Although we only live a couple hours away, most of our guest had never been to the area and it was great to be able to share it with them.  When we first visited the winery we were blown away by how amazing the staff were.  From the moment we booked everything just went so smoothly, it really made the process of planning so much fun!  On top of that the food and wine was absolutely incredible.  We love the area so much, and really wanted to keep as much as we could local.  We wanted to be able to show our guests as much of Woodinville as possible.  We came down for the weekend last year for the Weddings in Woodinville show and ended up picking all of our vendors from there.  When it came to planning it made it so easy that everyone we were working with had already worked together in the past.  When the day came around we knew we didn't need to worry about the details, everything came together beautifully.  We were really able to just relax and focus on enjoying ourselves and taking it all in.

Blush & White - Rachel & Daniel

A more perfect day for Rachel and Daniels wedding at Willows Lodge in Woodinville Wine Country could not have been asked for.  Bright beautiful blooms, including summer dahlias, adorned the tables and bridesmaid bouquets, which created a striking balance against the bridesmaids grey gowns.  The bride was stunning with her blush and white bridal bouquet with accents of black centered anemones. A fun feature the couple incorporated into their special day that we love is how they used local areas of interest in Washington for their table numbers.

Styled Modern - Daniela & Bruce

A vibrant, fun and modern wedding held at a private residence that featured bright coral, turquoise and chartreuse with geometrical patterns.     

From Jacky Grotle, Event Success ~ "When a veteran Seattle event designer is getting married, every element of the event is 'styled'.  Using bright coral, turquoise and chartreuse with geometrical patterns the result was modern, vibrant and fun.  The extraordinary sunny weather only added to the spectacular day. 

The ceremony backdrop was made by her lovely groom Bruce and they tied the knot in front of their new home. They created a logo with a double mountain to represent their two families joining as one. Both Bruce and Daniela’s children played an important role in the ceremony. 

The cocktails were pool side while dinner and dancing were in the garden under a clear canopy and the trees. The talented Bride serenade her groom and the evening ended with glitter cannons and dancing into the night.

Wedding Consultant Jacky Ross Grotle of Event Success says 'this was her final event before retiring Bella Signature Design.  She wanted to use the best vendors and have her wedding personalized and memorable.  It defiantly represented Daniella’s gorgeous style'.

Ultra styled details included the bar tent, bug spray with color coordinating labels, kids’ activities bags and the ceramic bowls with succulents made by the bride & groom for favors."

Purple, Green & Butterfly's

This backyard Woodinville vow renewal featured the colors of the season through the use of purples, greens and butterflies.

From Jennifer Taylor - Taylor'd Events Group "What I love about this wedding is this is a vow renewal; it was Deanna and Matthew’s 10-year anniversary. 

Their wedding was in the back yard of her parent’s house 10 years earlier and while they were surrounded by the love of their friends and family, I think Deanna felt like it was not the wedding she really wanted.   Fast forward 6 months before her 10 year anniversary, she came to the office and she was ready to start planning.  She had a lot completed, but needed a few wedding professionals and of course making sure the day of the event went smoothly.  During the entire planning process she kept telling me that it was going to rain on her anniversary, because in the past 9 years it rained at least every other year, mind you this is August, not exactly rainy season in our area.  I re-assured her that it would not, I mean its August!    The day came, it was beautiful, not too hot, a little cloud cover, and NO rain.

The ceremony was beautiful and the setting was ethereal, everyone had a great time and at the end of the day, Deanna got her dream wedding and was truly a queen for the day."

Grey, white & green - Sarah & Devin

Sarah & Devin’s wedding at Novelty Hill-Januik was filled with fun details and lots of fun.  Jen Taylor of Taylor’d Events worked with the couple for almost a year working on finding wedding professionals, and décor.  The clean palette of grey, white and green is a perfect combination for Novelty Hill.  

The details were the table were numbered by wine bottles with labels of the bride and groom, in liu of cake there were mini desserts from Midori Bakery and the bride & groom had wood dolls in their likeness and finally the macaroons from Lady Yum.

Adam Tiegs of Adam’s DJ Service kept the crowd going and help them with a rousing shoe game.

Sarah is a regular attendee of Weddings in Woodinville and I am honored that we were able to make her day special.  Watch for her at this show!

Romantic Rocker - Carmen & Bryan

Carmen and Bryan celebrated their marriage at Columbia Winery in beautiful Woodinville Wine Country.   Nearing the end of September, the ceremony was held indoors.   Jen Taylor of Taylor’d Events help planned and coordinated the wedding.  Romantic with a touch of rocker was the call of the day from the vintage quilted bouquet to the studded heels the bride wore, the day reflected the couples personalities perfectly. 

The day started at Willows Lodge for getting ready and photos, then the wedding party walked from Willows to Columbia.  Ceremony was very family focused, with the brides daughter walking her down the aisle

Navy & Pink - Darcy & Amy

Jennifer Taylor of Taylor’d Events by Jennifer was honored to be part of Darcy and Amy’s wedding.   They reached out to Jennifer after securing their venue DeLille and caterer Lisa Dupar Catering, to give them guidance of finding the rest of their vendors and help them with their design.  

The wedding was an intimate affair with friends and close family.  Their daughters were flower girls and a close friend was their officiant. 

Lisa Dupar Catering created a great menu of heavy appetizers including an egg sandwich that was the couple’s favorite hangover meal while touring South America.

Jen took the color scheme from their dress options then added the navy as anchoring color. DJ Leslie from Seattle Parties kept the dance floor packed.   At the end of the night the couple stayed at Willows Lodge.

Rustic Elegance - Sandra & Mark

Sandra and Mark celebrated their marriage in beautiful Woodinville Wine Country at JM Cellars in an outdoor ceremony and reception with the help of wedding coordination by Event Success. Swathed in a neutral color palette, that capitalized on the unique outdoor beauty and greenery of JM Cellars, a ceremony arbor made from wood was highlighted with white, cream, and blush colors in this “Rustic Elegance” Wedding. A palette theme that works perfectly for a Spring, Summer or Fall wedding according to planner, Jacky Grotle.

Further embracing the beauty of the outdoors, the couple created a guest book experience that stepped outside the traditional book and instead had their guests write notes and sign their names on black rocks.

In the Pacific Northwest our evenings can cool off quite quickly, so beyond gathering around a fire pit or heaters Planner Jacky offers the following advice “For Fall weddings be sure to consider the temperature and offer shawls or blankets for guests to stay warm in as the night progresses and cools off.”  This couple also helped starve off the evening chill by serving up a late night snack of tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for their guests from Lisa Dupar Catering. 

Working together, Sandra and Jacky created an elegant evening for the couples friends and family.  Sandra shares the following:  “we really wanted to make a memorable night for ourselves and our family. We wanted to create an atmosphere of fun and celebration. We wanted to have a good time. And from the feedback we've gotten from everyone it was a great party and an elegant, and classy wedding. We really enjoyed the night and have very fond memories of it.”

Cocktail Style Reception - Jessie & Darin

When Jessie and Darin were planning their wedding, Woodinville seemed like the natural place to hold the celebration, as it is where they attend church and where they got engaged. They were fortunate enough to come across Woodhouse Wine Estates through Darin's father, who is a wine distributor and recommended their exquisite wine. When they visited for the first time, they knew instantly that this would be the perfect place to celebrate. With the help of on-site event coordinator Rachel Childers, their vision came to life.

On that first Saturday in March, a light snow fell outside the church as they said their vows. It was magical! Handmade decorations and beautiful flowers in mint, gold, and accents of coral helped brighten up the day. That evening Jessie, Darin, and their 100 guests enjoyed a fun cocktail-style reception at Woodhouse Wine Estates with a heavy appetizer buffet, cake, wine, dancing, and a photobooth.

Blessed with a warm sunny July date, Kiana & Parker enjoyed the outdoor decks and grounds the venue offers into the night at their simply classic wedding at the historical Hollywood School House in Woodinville. They chose purple and green as their wedding colors which were showcased in the floral, bridesmaid dresses, linens & favors.

Keeping all activity in the heart of Woodinville, they had both the Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner at Red Hook Brewery. A DIY couple, they made all their signage and even created a fun photo I -SPY game for their guests to enjoy.

Outdoor Vintage Elegance - Katherine & Dean

Katherine & Dean attended Weddings in Woodinville 2013 and decided on DeLille Cellars for their July Wedding.  Katherine and Dean wanted a little help with their wedding and so they booked Event Success’s Wedding Week Coordination Package.  They went on to book 90% of their vendors that they met at the Weddings in Woodinville 2013 showcase!

After choosing the location of their fete, their primary objective was good food, good wine and a nice evening with good friends & family.  They had a lovely outdoor wedding and guitar music played.  The style was outdoor elegance with vintage touches like Katherine’s dress, hair & make-up.  They also had a vintage suitcase to collect wedding cards from guests. With 80 of their nearest and dearest, they had the perfect day!
